do you have ever felt the burden has been lifted up from you ? well i felt that burden lifted up from me today ! as i have handed in my last assignment, still waiting for Gary to reply me cause i am hoping i am able to resubmit my two failed assignment.
time to start training for my marathon, time to be myself, time to concentrate on other things, time to get life back to prespective. what do you reckon .. i know i am not making sense.. ahha .. its ok .. take care you all !

i reminise about the time i was talking to Valerie, she came into her training sessions late, and i was waiting for her at the counter, she quickly got changed and she told me that .. #@$#%3 why must all this thing happens.. ahah . so i asked her what happened?
she said: all BAD LUCKS comes in three, well i didnt believe her. she told me that if you happen to have bad luck. do try to count how many times in a row of bad luck you have, she says it will be three.. as of what happen to her was Her dad didnt tell her that he is not going to send her to the gym, she waited like a fool for 1 hour plus, Bad Luck 1. her Ragnarock account got hacked into, bad luck 2. and bad luck 3. i think she said someone banged her car and she got to pay. ahah .. sigh.. i still didnt believe that bad luck comes in three.
i was mumbling to myself at the bad thinking, would this be true, till someone at the bar told me, whats up. i said do bad luck comes in 3? she said ya.. i believe that too .. i was skeptical still but till today i think i am starting to believe it in, as Marie today msged me online and told me that something terrible happened.. not going to say what.. but ya .. she mention all three things at that time.. so those bad luck reminded me of what Valerie was telling me all this while

today on this 22nd OCT 2005 saturday its the gathering of the pals, well thats why we are all in healthy relationship still, its good to gather ourself once in a while just to have dinner and catch up with old times, but the group is slowly expanding, it was from a humble 12 and its getting bigger cause of added partners, ya i am talking bout your gf’s dude.
its nice to see ppl gathering and we all talking. today we was at this deep end of the world were bombs and guns can go off anytime. just making this up for excitment wise only ok, we was at this place called telok gong and yes its in a very secluded place off at westport, people say the seafood there is heaven, cause

ok back to story, we had this drink call toddy, todi or how ever you want to spell it, its suppose to be fremented coconut and its punched with alcohol and some people drink it with Guiness Stout, yucks.. i had it alone and it taste heavenly as its sweet (erm.. mind my tongue, its a weird accuired taste) there is alot of food we ate actually but i am not going to describe. cause i might bore you silly. 10 dish to be exact.
the bill came to about RM328.45sen, tax included. the main purpose is to go for the gathering. it was fun. hope to do this in a foreign land sometimes with you guys ! take care man and god bless.. pictures are in the album!

1-utama is having warsteiner beer just for RM1 bucks … its really cheap.. but there is a catch to it at 5.15pm everything was sold out, this is outrageous.. stupid management, hope to catch some real beer this coming Sunday, been pigging out and not been training for the marathon, hhmmm… anyway .. enjoy oktoberfest. hum dee dum, back from singapore, didnt know it would past with a blink of a eye, i didnt even felt that 3 days past me like it was THREE days.. it felt more like half day to me, well guess the saying really is true, when you are having fun time flies, when you are not its a DRAG !
well i did have fun in singapore, especially signing up for my marathon, buying my gears for it, woo hoo . new shoes cant wait to break its first run on the road today, heading out to do my 15k today, and then wednesday 20K and then the following friday 23k and so on and on.. ya i know some of you sure say .. yawn .. boring.. hehe .. but hey gimme a chance will ya,
i bought shoes, top, shorts, the works.. spent like 1k already. damm .. well as my dad use to say if you want to do something DO IT RIGHT ! going to get my race id tag, my timing chip but i have not bought one thing yet, my Heart Rate (HR) monitor. sniff sniff.. anyone want to sponsor ? or know where i can get it cheap ? like 30% cheaper.
oh back to singapore’s food, you know when i am there i would never fail to eat my FRESH FISH SLICE BEE HOON! its the most (i TOTALLY RECOMMEND) delicious thing in Singapore. nothing can come close to it, everytime i order it would be two bowl and aunty always think i am buying for another person, but haha.. she is always wrong, i would order it for myself. if i live in singapore. that would be my staple diet. its PERFECT ! (picture insert) 5/5star
oh and another thing that is not to be miss, its the Din Tai Fung restaurant at Paragon, this is another place i go for my chinese food, i would go there for my afternoon tea and have my chinese dumplings.. its got the perfect 18 fold and so juicy inside, (picture insert) oh do try the every so soft Kai Lan boiled to perfection and every bite is crunchy on the stem. yummy, 3/5 star
erm.. the is actually plenty more of food in singapore, maybe one day when i get back there i would write a review of the food there.. would you guys like it ? i am no singaporoean but i can match the taste of malaysia.

you know something, people compare ipoh girls and KL girls, people say that Ipoh girls have fair skin and gorgeous feature, KL girls are hip and happening. but to me none from those region are of good standard, want to know which part of the world girls are the prettiest ?? its girls that live on ISLANDS !! (out of topic but still about girls) i was at sense studio yesterdat while cropping and styling my hair and i met this girl, i was actually walking out of the studio because our car double parked outside, so there she was standing there while waiting to have her hair styled (notice how i use style rather than cut) hehe , she smile at me and i was wondering erm.. at ME ?? girl smiling at me.. heheh.. so i erm .. smiled back.. her name was Sam, she is going to Ireland and she has a look of a fresh morning sunshine and smile of a thousand watt bulb, she has a nice personality that can make any guys day.. ahha .. so sam if you are reading this, good luck in Ireland all the best. hope to see you in the near future.

For My LOVE
well dont think of love as love always.. haha .. i have come to a point where i LOVE snooker so much i decided to buy my 5th piece of cue, i dont know what got into me, i made a appoinment to go with Andrew to AsiaCafe in Subang and we were all hyped out about playing pool after our snooker session in 1-Utama (cause we are talking about tournament and stuff)
today we met at Subang at 6pm and he arrived on time also, we racked the table up and we shoot pool till 9pm, well we went for dinner at 7pm la duh, still have to eat ma.. but after dinner we went up back to continue, it reminise the old time when i was learning snooker, so hooked so fascinated by the urge to learn, today i had a very good feeling, when i and andrew was playing the pool care taker asked us to join the tournament, so we fool around saying that we are just playing for fun, (ahem he noticed how we play so he kept asking us to play for the tournament) ahheeh .. we know he is a big hustler also,
after we stopped and went for dinner, we continued and another caretaker was there, he also saw the way we play and he asked us to join, (same answer given) but i am trying to get andrew to join, even we know we got no chance of winning as this is a open tournament, snooker greats would be playing (sam chong, benjamin, ann seng, marco fu……got your eyes didnt I ? ) hehe .. this part was the best.. i was on the table and it was my turn to break the 9ball game, so i break and i finished the whole game, it felt really good when the care taker appluaded .. ahha .. it felt good.. after countless time of andrew trying to win me, he gave up.. he is now my apprentice,.. hehahah .. he would be the 3rd apprentice i have, hope i train him well and he will turn out even more menacing than ever ..
i had a really good game today.. hope to come back from singapore with all my sports gear! my cue, my HR moniter, my shoe, my rock shoe wow .. so many sports item .. sigh .. i am going to be broke soon !
the 9 Kingdom
well i am not to sure myself what is KAU ONG YA ! but i know the first two word refers to 9 and king .. i think the ya is actually coconut to MY understanding .. but i dont think its coconut.. ahha .. well it was a Monday night and the chinese have some festival called kau ong ya, its helf annually and all the chinese have to be vegetarian if they want to pray , or something like that, could someone enlighten me about this beautiful culture ? oh yes i am chinese but i am not rich in culture, sometime i wish i was but i am not. have no proper guidance, well usually i go there just to ask for forgiveness and to bless my family and friends. thats all here are some pictures i took of the temple i went in AMPANG ! it was 12am and its jam packed with people, happening..

8th October, went out jogging at 2.30pm under the hot sun for a 1km sprint, then meet up with justin at 3pm for our Round Island bike ride (hehe.. klang is our island ma) lucky the weather was easing up and turning to dark clouds.. the weather was just great for round island.. ahha .. we headed out to Klang using the old MGS way, and to all the girls that honk at us, ya ya,, i know justin butt was cute.. what about mine ? hehe .. so who is this justin you guys want to ask .. its the same ol same ol justin. ya recently he bought my spare bike and he is having the ride of his life. hehe .. oh ya .. then we cycled to parts of klang where i think some of the klangites dont even know where it was.. hehe .. well enough said .. pictures for you to see .. if any of you klang ppl who own a bike and want to ride with us.. do let me know ok ! we are glad to bring you for a ride ! we will even throw in a free cramp session for you, (justin had one on his calf just now .. ahha )

my my my.. what do you think i am going to say after reading my topic and seeing the opening statement of this blog, this topic came out when i was talking to Mic, its funny how things are have changed and evolved about people, especially girls being materialistic. its partly to blame on ADVERTISING.. yes its true, when was the last time you flip a Vogue magazine, and not see a model totting a LV bag ? or holding the latest gadget in hand.
Modern advertising attempts to convince people that the pursuit of WEATLH, POSSESION and IMAGE will make them happy. As such, it has the goal of increasing the value people place on materialistic aims.
Yet empirical research consistently documents that people who believe materialistic values are relatively important also have a lower quality of life. Studies show people with strong materialistic values report:

- more depression
- less satisfaction with life
- more anxiety – less vitality
- more physical problems
- lower general functioning
- more drug use

Being the Best
As i told you guys its going to take a few days for me to recover from my disapointment in AXN challenge, boo hoo.. sniff sniff.. now i am back and fully recovered and spirit fully restored. cant wait to get back in the adventure racing scene again.. so let me begin the whole race day my explaining what happened to TEAM MILK CARTON
it was 10.45am on the 1st OCT 2005, venue KLCC outdoor carpark. we checked in our team and it was exhilirating as we were handed our AXN bip and a booklet containing maps and questionaire to the whole day. wow .. it was great i tell you, first thing i put on was the Bip and it felt great i tell you, then TEAM Milk Carton opened up the booklet and took out the map, there was a MAP (5 piece to be exact, a questionaire telling us what to do the whole day and two passport for us to stamp along all the check points .. there is in total of 17 checkpoints. everyone was gathered there and you can see the air was filled with enthusiasm, everyone was charged up and getting ready to go. my adreline begning to pump as i saw more and more racers coming to register.
11.30am, Manfred, Olivia and Me was sitting at one of the tent and laid out the map to enroute the place where were are headed. our first and we didnt think we can do this.. we felt nervous and kind of excited all at once. I told Manfred to get a marker to highlight our route and Olivia went to buy one. so at the wait till 12.30pm, the rest of the waiting time was stretching and anticipating what would happen, after Dato Toyad Flagged us off, it was after the air horn went off… it felt like a screech peircing thru the air..
so the race starts.. running and running. our first task, run to check point A to collect a set of questionaire, then get all the answers and head to check point B, it was crazy i tell you everyone after the flag off was running like mad. ahha .. so we headed to checkpoint A and then got all the answers and ran to checkpoint B, at this moment timecheck is 1.10pm, we are leading the mixed team, YES WE ARE LEADING, even leading team POWERBAR ECO WIZARD, (bet we gave them a scare) oh did itell you that checkpoint A and to B is around 6km, after that, we have to run to the Matrix Zone at Bukit Nenas, so running from checkpoint B to bukit Nenas was another 7K, this is where team Eco, ran past us, when i saw them past us i was like damm .. sigh.. its ok, TEAM ECO if you are reading this.. we will prepare better next year ! (just kidding)

(just kidding) in Buikit Nenas we had to do a series of task, a minimum of 3task is to be completed and stamped on our passport before proceeding. so first task we choose was Island Walk, we had to guide a blindfolded teamate to the end of this made path, but there was white foam arranged like island. and in the end of the path lays a wooden plank, around 20kg, we had to carry it all the way to the other side, and then this is where the fun starts. we have to stand in the center of the foam and nothing can touch the ground, we have to connect the plank to each foam, while just using the plank and then walk across to the other foam, and so on till the end of the path. it was tough, 2nd task was to grab 2 sponge soak it in water and throw it to the team mate and fill a bucket, it was not that bad, knowing that we lost one sponge because my team mate didnt catch it all that well. it was ok time check 1.45pm 2nd task completed, placing dropped to 3rd, , for the final task we took the challenge as it looks like fun, *YA RIGHT* it was a small little plank that we had to sit on and none of us must get up from it while rolling downhill. and i meant HILL, it was TOUGH, we fell on the first attempt so got to go back all the way to the top again, olivia had cuts on her leg because of this, 3nd attempt, we completed without hesitation, pass the stamp to the marshall and it was given back to us , Manfred asking WHY ? marshall said you didnt get your passport stamp! i came in a shouted.. WHAT !! NO WAY !! i GAVE IT .. I PERSONALLY GAVE IT ! she said .. no you have to check (mistake number 1: NEVER TRUST PPL) sigh, i was pissed off cause to get from matrix 1 to 3 is a living hell of hill climb. so i told manfred.. screw it let me go get it stamp
i ran like no tomorrow even knowing that my legs feel like breaking to get that freaking thing stamped. ran back again to the F**king marshall and then she passed us, so we headed on our way, i think placing dropped to 7th after this, its ok, to cut things short ran off to CENTRAL MARKET did a task, ran to Lake Garden to do a series of task again, (total KM ran from bukit nenas to Lake Garden is about another 10km) totalling from start to lake garden 23km. not over yet, after all our task done, took our bike in the blistering rain and bike off to Jalan Selangor to the menteri besar house while needing to go to checkpoints to get our passport stamped, total bike ride was 15km. (oh mind you, it was the most gruesome hill ride i ever did) my legs feels like breaking !

I TELL you the view was spectacular ! time check 8.45pm reached KLCC park while enjoying a slow walk from berjaya time square. (mistake 2: remember to clock in our finish time) ahah .. but HEY WE FINISHED the race and it was all FUN ! cant wait to hit the next race.. not matter what i will go !

ya i know its past 2 days after the race… my calf feels like it has a mind of its own, it doesnt want to work together with the rest of the body, and i am struggling to walk. haha .. imagine walking around like limp legged and all duckie. i am yet to tell you all what happened at AXN challenge.. i will guide you guys step by step when i recover.. but for now.. i am still in pain .. ahha .. so i cant really think .. i will make sure everythihng is up by this weekend ! catch me site later.. i am going off now .. take care !
