I was born on the year of 1980′s but to most people they would always be surprised to know that i always tell them my Birthday, people would always think that i am older (i hated that) but its cause maybe of my appearance, sometime i dress up sometime i dress down, well when i dress down you are surely not able to guess how old i am, cause i would always be younger from what i look, and when i go out for formal function, people would always percieve me as older, (NOT GOOD)

anyway, so have you guess which day in december i was born in ? hint (the world, MIND YOU THE WORLD celebrates with me on my special occasion) why I blogged about this today is because i saw a characteristic of a capri and i liked it, SUITED me so well. here it is, i love being a capricorn as it has so many good attributes to it !

A place to have lunch is always a very hard desicion to make, not only lunch but dinner and breakfast as well if you are living in Malaysia, cause we are spoilt for choice, usually we are clueless of where to eat, but today me and lawrence headed down to Port Klang to have lunch at this famous venue called Cathay in Port Klang.

  This place has all the nostalgic feeling with a hint of collisuem in Kuala Lumpur, this place really reminds me of war town colonial building, wait.. IT IS A WAR TORN COLONIAL building, infact this building was built in 1941, wow. its a great place i to feel the old times.

if you see the picture below, the was your utensils in the steel mug, HOW chinese, hehe, and that bottle on the right is actualy Barley, well i dont recommend the Barley rather bluntly tasteful, go for their Kopi O or Kopi Ice, they still serve their coffee in those olden coffee cups, its really classic i tell you, the other picture is the overall picture of the front of the store, the owner is sitting over the counter manning the whole restaurant. The menu is reasonably price, and the food is good

I know you must be thinking, Isaac says the food is good, BUT WHAT FOOD ? well to be honest, they serve a variety of chinese fry for example, Fried Rice, Wa Tan Hor, Kueh Teow, Mame Mee and many more, all reasonable price between RM3.50 to RM4, oh not only that they serve Chinese foodm they also have Western food which they are also famous for, BK ordered Fish and Chips and Chicken Chop, while i ordered beef steak, You will never guess the price of these items, its being priced at only RM7, very reasonable for a decent place like this. the picture on the left is my
Beef Steak, and the other two is Fish and Chicken, Oh i nearly forgot, when you order don’t say it in full, like when i told the uncle taking orders i told him i wanted the beef steak, he was stunned and stood there looking at me, as if i ordered in french, then Lawrence said , he wanted GU (hokkien for cow) now i know, i am in PORT KLANG and not some fancy restaurant like Frangipani. The uncle repeated the order in this order, ok u both ordered barley, GU, KWAE and HEE (cow, chicken and fish).

didn’t really expected much from the food, but then it came and it was really good, look at Lawrence tucking in his Fish and Chips. really superb, and did i mention that my Beef Steak melts in my mouth when i chew on the meat, wow.. the suculent taste of the beef was right and it was so juicy that this beef steak makes victoria station or any beef steak out there shameful, i polished off my beef steak within minutes, oh i forgot to mention that this place is Multiracial and HALAL, if you do want to come and have lunch please come early around 12, after 12.30 this place would be packed and you might have to wait for a seat.

Opening hours of cathay is around 11am to 3pm (i think) and the outside of the shop as it says Sin Kok Thye, but its actually known as Cathay.

I was on the net the other day and was searching for anything related to cycling and biking, its really great to see how cycling has evolve not only from being a transportation but to being a entertaintment contraption. People use Bikes to compete in nationals, people uses bike to do stunts for movies, but something that i stumbled upon really garner my attention to it, and it was from Youtube.com well there is more from where that came from, its really fun to see all those people carefree and cycling around town with their bikes

This thing that surprised me so much is called a critical mass! its does not mean that its a CRITICAL stage of MASS being piled up or anything but here is a definition of Critical Mass from critical-mass.info. It states that Critical Mass is a monthly bicycle ride to celebrate cycling and to assert cyclists’ right to the road. The idea started in San Francisco in September 1992 and quickly spread to cities all over the world. This site attempts to be the most complete guide to local Critical Mass rides around the globe. and its also done on every last friday of the month or something like that.

Critical Mass has a different flavor from city to city – there’s a big variety in size, respect of traffic laws (or lack thereof), interaction with motorists, and intervention by police. So if you want to know more about Critical Mass, you’ll really need to find out what your local ride is like. For those who must know more right now, here’s a link to Phoenix, Arizona CM, which I suppose is a "typical" CM ride, if there is such a thing.

Critical Mass has no leaders, and no central organization licenses rides. This is really great you know, i hope to do a critical mass in the roads of Kuala Lumpur one day, but i think sure get knock down by road bully or some matt rempit.

Some CM riders try to tie up traffic as much as possible and be otherwise confrontational with motorists. Such riders are missing the point about Critical Mass. CM is a celebration of cycling, not a war against motorists. CM is about asserting our right to the road, not denying others their right to the road. Those who want to play juvenile games are encouraged to stay at home instead, its also to promote the use of alternative transport rather than just motorised vehicle.

ok ok .. i am not gay or anything, i just want to let the guys out there know that grooming is a essential part of a guys life in the 20th century. Grooming makes the man, and here is 14 tips that i follow. Women notice a successful man, but not all successful men get noticed. Why? They don’t know how to present themselves. Here are some tips that will help you look your best, no matter what your budget. This is just a guide, if you have more tips let me know ok. Catch ya later.

Whiten your teeth
The best way to whiten your teeth is to have them bleached at the dentist’s office. This procedure can run between $390 and $1,200 for both the upper and lower teeth. It should take between one and three hours. If you want to save money, you can use either a take-home dental kit (about $500), an over-the-counter kit (less than $120), or even an "express whitener," like Crest’s Whitestrips (which promise whiter teeth in seven or 14 days, depending on the package; prices range from $28 to $33, but results only last a year). If you want to go all out, you can also use toothpaste with whitening ingredients, which won’t actually make your teeth whiter, but will prevent further yellowing.

Get a tan (everytime i get)
The price of a tan can range from free to a ton of cash, and can take as long as a summer season or as short as a few minutes. The difference is whether you do it the old-fashioned way or in a salon. If you opt for a salon, expect to pay about a dollar per minute (and remember the potential danger of tanning beds). How long it takes and how often you need to visit depends on your skin pigment. On the other hand, self-tanning lotions and spray tanning salons are other options.

Get a professional shave (ahha not bearding enough to do)
Men are always looking for a better shave. After all, a good shave means your woman will be more likely to get close. But nothing beats a barbershop shave, for two reasons. First, the old-school brush the barber uses to apply the cream actually lifts your facial hair, making the shave easier. Second, the straight razor gets closer than anything else on the market. True, you could do it yourself, but I wouldn’t experiment with a straight razor on my face. And who wouldn’t want to be pampered when it comes to shaving

Consider professional hair removal (ok this i dont follow)
Many of us have hair in the wrong places. But we have several options. Any area can be shaved (provided that you can reach it), but shaving is a short-term fix. If you’re attacking a small area like your ears or nostrils, the proper attachment on an electric razor is your best bet. For larger areas, you can use a chemical hair removal cream like Nair for Men, which can sting and cause a reaction, and isn’t permanent. You could also wax, which is pretty painful. Then there are the more permanent options: electrolysis and laser hair removal. Both cause mild discomfort but promise permanent removal at a price ranging from hundreds to thousands of dollars, depending on how many treatments are required.

Get a new pair of eyeglasses (I dont wear specs)
Glasses don’t have to be boring. A simple change can go a long way in giving you the attention you want. Try rimless glasses if you’re used to clunky specs. If you’re looking to draw attention to your glasses, try bigger frames, like thick, plastic, rectangular frames.

Get a good suit  (oh my fav part, Gucci’s and Prada’s are my fav)
Two factors set a nice suit apart from the pack: the style (which changes, but you can’t go wrong with a single-breasted, solid color suit) and the material. For material, you’ll want to go with wool, which comes in four types: tweed, tropical, flannel, and worsted. Yes, there are other materials (like polyester), but wool is natural, wears well, breathes, and accomplishes a cool and timeless look.

Get a new pair of cufflinks
A suit says you’re a professional, but cufflinks say you’ve got style. Yes, they serve a practical purpose that you could also accomplish with a button, but this is your chance for a little bling. For less than $100, you can find a nice pair. But we’re talking jewelry here, so in theory, the sky is the limit. And no one says you can’t wear cufflinks while wearing a button-down shirt with flat-front pants .

Invest in a stylish tie  (no bonus for guessing what designer i love again)
A tie is the only real choice a guy makes when he goes formal. Suits come in basic styles and colors, but ties let us know who the players are. Every guy should have at least one tie that he bought at a specialty shop. It’ll be your power tie, the one that works for you in every respect, from length, to shape, to color. Make it a silk tie and you’ve really got something.

Clean your watch thoroughly
This one is practically free and it goes a long way. You can clean your watch with a lint-free cloth and a toothpick to get rid of the dirt clogged in the case. If your watch is water-resistant, you can use warm water and mild soap. If your watch has a leather band, only clean the case.

Get a new jacket (This i dont do, cause malaysia too hot la)
It’s tempting to use the same jacket year after year. After all, if it keeps you warm, there’s no point in changing, right? Wrong. Invest in a quality jacket. Try cashmere if you’re looking to make a formal impression, or go with a cool leather jacket for a more casual look.

Tailor your clothes (I can recommend you a good place where i go)
You don’t need to tailor everything you own, but you should have a few items (and at least one suit complete with shirt) that fit you perfectly. Tailoring isn’t cheap, but some stores offer lifetime alterations, which could save you from having to buy a new suit.

Get a nice belt
Don’t make your belt the afterthought — it’s holding up your pants, so you want quality. But you should also consider style when choosing one. A black leather belt with a small silver buckle is good for just about all occasions. Aside from matching your belt to your wardrobe (including your shoes ), you need a good fitting belt. The right fit is a belt that fits snugly around your waist while set at the third hole.

Don’t look like pocket change
Different tips work for different guys, so you don’t have to do everything on this list. But it’s a good idea to try a few things and see what works best for you. If you get a compliment on something you try, you know you’ve hit the jackpot.

date 12-November-06, time 11.01am, venue Sheraton hotel, this is utterly crazy, people lining up like snake slithering side to side, this is sheraton hotel, I am blogging as I wait in turn, the snaking line is incredible I tell you, I will try to snap a picture for you guys. Sheraton Hotel has turned to a recruiting agency.  Oh i did not mention that i was going for a interview, well yeah, i am trying my luck applying for the most lavish, yet well paid job in the world. Its a job with Singapore Airline, the amount of people coming in is non stop i tell you.  Is Singapore airline so desireable? Is SIA a fortune 500 company? The line truly amazes me, and i am still looking at this queue that is applying for the job of steward and stewardess. Imagine Prada giving out freebies, how would the turn up be?

 Wait up been told to go up to another queue, as the queue i am queueing up is for the girls, DARN IT.. the amount of girls here is incredible looks like all this are doll up for a big party, well some not. Some are just casual like casual monday. Oh i will remember that girl that wore the dolly white dress! oh so kawaii, not to mention the white capri, the oh so look at me red, too many to mention. its like Zoukout FEST but without the beach theme.

This information is for the girls, Guys here are just not hot. Sorry to disapoint you. Oh but if you are into faggots and gays by all means, But I bet if you go to sentosa there would be lots of hot able sweaty guys around. Girls are all pouring in, sorry this must be my 3rd time stating girls are hot.

After handing in my application I was told to wait for 1hour and 30min just to get my named called, how outrageous that can be? saw some funky fashion by the guys, saw this dude who was carrying a picnic basket for briefcase.

I am now looking at the requirment for girls. its really strict, do you see a girl leaning on a pillar? its the height requirement for girls, sad to see some girls pleading to get in, sigh. Doing nothing at the moment but waiting till my time is up, its just crazy!! feel like leaving already but the thought of getting the job is so close, getting a job must be really hard these days. No wonder there are so many hopefulls wanting a job in SIA.

Its already 1.35pm I am still here, to think that am I in a dream? i feel like I am applying for Singapore Idol, check the picture below for longer queues going into the ballroom. Today will be a record breaker if I were to go thru this whole process. I think overall waiting time would be five hours. I think they are moving the girls now because there are so many girls around, I am thinking about one thousand or more?

After waiting in the ballroom and being called out, I is group88, imagine this! each group is 10people, and I am 3quarter of the final batch. How many more to go, oh let alone the girls I think their batch surpasses 95 already. I wouldn’t want to be in the interviewers shoes. The amount of time and face you have to go thru.

Well my batch is done and awaiting my results, as I always tell the applicant. the results is always UNPREDICTABLE !! in my group there was 9 guys, i was so confident about this malay chap that i think he was 100% going in, and another guy who works for a bank and speaks well english, poised, everything, also I have seen people speaking with confidence, I have seen people who are fluent, I have seen very skilled people, and yet they got turned down! Why?? What’s is SIA looking for in a team player? Aren’t those atributes good enough? Is SIA looking for fresh/dumb/naive people? That’s up to them to answer. till today i am seeking this answer, (if you happen to be a recruiter of SIA I would like to know)
