RoadID GiveAway Friday

It’s a Gorgeous Friday everyone, and if you were wondering what was that icon posted last week, it’s no road sign but a logo of a company that has “YOU” in mind, yes, you the one reading this, and this company is called RoadID.

Before I go any further let me tell you what RoadID is all about, This Company was founded by a father-and-son team and they are none other than Edward and Mike Wimmer. They have been providing safety gear to help keep you safer since 1999, and I am glad they did so.  This so called bracelets are like guardian angels, no kidding. With all the unfortunate recent death of Marathoners like Claire Squires in the recent London Marathon ,  Jeffrey Lee for the Philadelphia  Half Marathon , or even Firefighter William Caviness in the Chicago Marathon.

Those people I have mention are not old or unhealthy, they are young and even triathletes at their peak of their health, just saying that we are not bullet proof even if we are at our pink of health.  I am trying to say that those death are at a high profile event, given the scenario that we are training alone running 5 am in the morning (which is a fav of mine) and I fall flat to the ground.  I would have this ID tag on me telling anyone that finds me all my vital info.

I have been using RoadID since a couple of years back and it has not faded on me nor smelled on me.  Why do I talk about RoadID? Cause I truly believe in a product that is for safety and has athletes in mind, but come to think of it, RoadID are not only for athletes but can also be used for everyone including your family members, This little nifty product is a bracelet that carries all the vital information for anyone in an emergency situation, and not only they have bracelet form they now come in 6 different types of design for you to choose from depending where you want to place your ID from wrist, necklace, ankle to even your shoe.

I have the wrist ID Sport on me and it goes where ever I go, I don’t only use it for sport but I use it as a fashion bracelet as well, who knows I might just drop dead when there is a pretty girl that come asking for my number. LOL  See it still looks new to me.

Anyway since it’s a FRIDAY , I am gonna be doing a “GIVE AWAY FRIDAY “ I will be giving away Gift certificate worth $15 each to 2 lucky readers courtesy of RoadID.  All you need to do tell me how many types of RoadID design are there. Special Force 200km

I know this is too late for most Ultra runners to know, but just to give you the low down on this remarkable event that is taking place. This would be to me be rated as one of the top crazy running events, because of the mileage coverage over the period of 5 days.  this event is called the “Special Forces 200KM” will be held on from 28th April to 2nd May 2012.

Ok maybe not that gruesome because of the divided mileage over the 5 days. Still in total you would have been running for 200km, thats more than Leadvill100.

This is Malaysia’s first 200km staged extreme ultra marathon.

A 200 kilometer staged ultra trail marathon starting in (more…)

Instragram for Android

For those Instagram user who had stop using their iOS phone, you would be glad to know that it is available for Android and it was released 5th April, well that was like 4 days ago, so no worries you are still not late in hoping to ride this wave of excitement  download.  As for me, I’ve signed up in line hoping to be one of the first, but hey I think that was just an April fools joke as they openly released it to the market for download, so much for exclusivity.

So what’s my take on the NEW Instagram app for Android ?  Here is my 2 cents worth

The Good

  • Filters are still there
  • Picture Editing are fairly much the same, so if you are transitioning from iOS to Android, pcs of cake
  •  Pinterest, Tumblr icon support. They have the little icons on the bottom so you can pin or tumblr it.

The BAD

  • Slow down android
  • Batt sucker
  • Emoji icon support (Android can’t see iOS Emoji keyboard Icons)

  • Slow Update on followers feed
  • Always undetectable / Unable to connect to data connectivity
  • Same like iOS (nothing special / updated for Android) and the biggest BOO BOO
  • No tilt-shift effect for ANDROID !! yeah you heard me .. no TILT-SHIFT

The UGLY , ok I always wanted to use those 3 phrases in a review but it would only mean there will be 2 downside instead of one, So I will take ugly as my own feedback to ANDROID INSTAGRAM DEV TEAM .

Improvement

  1. Please include a Square Ready function (App in iOS Where pictures which is too large will automatically corrected to fit in IG’S  frame.
  2. Signature app which can include our own name, nickname etc..etc..
  3. Include a WHOIS following back icon, this is to better manage our followers and following.

So for you who have not yet downloaded this WONDERFUL app for Android and would like to try your hands at Photography. Here is your chance, click on your Market and Download Away.  Add me if you like..

Super Junior Leeteuk’s mobile number (Not a Joke)

Who wants some Super Junior, If you are one of those crazy fangirl/ fanboy for Super Junior LeeTeuk, I am not disclosing his mobile number …. but … Lee himself voluntary gave it up .. here you go girls or boys  010144601117

Hey, He posted it himself ok .. check this out

No joke: This is Leeteuk’s handphone number

For the fans of Super Junior, it must be the best April Fools’ Day ever.

Leeteuk, the affable leader of the hugely popular South Korean boyband, revealed his handphone number on his Twitter on that day.

Yes, you read that correctly. The 28-year-old has boldly gone where no idol has gone before. He started by posting a handphone number and only blocking the last four figures.

Super Junior's Leeteuk has boldly gone where no Kpop idol has gone by revealing his handphone number on Twitter.

Fans wasted no time in trying to call to figure out the last four figures and it soon caused disruption to other users of similar phone numbers.

After getting a few complaints about the disruption on his Twitter, Leeteuk finally revealed his own number in full: 010144601117. Furthermore, he stressed that it’s “100% real”

He received countless calls, text messages and Kakao Talk messages on his iPhone in no time.

Despite that, it turns out that Leeteuk has no wish of changing his phone number. Yesterday, the star tweeted that he will keep it as a means of staying in touch with his following.

“Ah, I will not change my handphone number. I hope to keep it as a way for us to keep in touch. I will let everyone know if I ever stop using this number,” he wrote.

The group is set to hold their first concert in Paris, France, on April 6.
