5 tips for staying safe on running on trails

Even experienced trail runners can get into trouble on unpredictable terrain. As more runners are going into off-road Trail Running, accidents are likely to increase.
Here are 5 tips for staying safe on running on trails:
Keep in touch
When trying a new trail running route, go with someone more experience about the area, bring a map, compass, cell phone, headlamp and whistle.

Good write-up! Alternatively set a turnaround time when on the trails. Not all trails are circuits that leads back to the starting point. If you’re running on uncharted grounds, always tell someone where you are going.
Besides Salomon, couple of notable trail runners: Montrail, La Sportiva, Merrell, The North Face, etc

yup, many tips there.. didnt know your back online reading my blog.. do come on twitter, its much back alive with jK, Anand, Simon and many more.. I will review more trail shoes soon.
Another good brand that most people didnt know makes trail shoe is Columbia. Awesome stuff.. for the KK run, well I am doing trail runs now more often than Road, yup , you can say that I am considering the HK100, would you like to join ?

I thought you don’t do ultras because of the amount of damage it will do to your knees?
