New Happening in Chijmes #ClubLava

There is a new player in town and I don’t mean tennis player, this time it’s my 2 cents worth about Club Lava which held its Grand opening on the 3rd August 2012. I know this place is going to be hip and happening when group GM Bob Khan declared

‘The quality of the sound system was the number one criteria in our long list of objectives,’ . ‘It is vital to create the right atmosphere – if you have poor sound, patrons won’t stick around after their first drink.’

How right he was, and if your music ain’t flowing, people ain’t dancing.

I was lucky enough to be invited for their grand opening and I have to say this club can easily pack 300 – 350 revelers for a party. Check out some of the opening pictures of the club, Also check out their FB page for more information Club Lava

 Club Lava takes over from the previous Le Baroque in Chijmes. Once you enter the club you will be treated with an euphoric feeling of Pink and Blue neon lights and well plush comfy sofas.

Upon entering you would see the main stage and the well equipped bar on your left. This place raved like a techno club. but that’s not the case. Tunes played was mostly POP and Top40′s while I was there.

What about drinks you say? Well don’t worry, this place has over 100 varieties of alcoholic beverages on offer, including all your standards as well as….

While I was there I have seen the club offering membership and it is a very good deal If I have to say. Do inquire at the club if you want to know more. (too good a deal trust me)

beers on tap (not only one but five beers on tap with my fav Guinness ) yummy !!

They have this great band performing at Club Lava called   and they even have their own FB page –> The Vibes .

The Vibes performs at the Club from  Monday-Thursday 2230hrs – 0215hrs,  Friday & Saturday 2230hrs – 0345hrs, trust me they sure can get you grooving to the beat,

“Girls and Guys Night” Bring all your friends along, free flow from 9pm – 11.30pm. Cover charge at only $20 Nett For Ladies and $28 Nett for Guys.
