Sundown Marathon Runners Unite
In this coming Sundown Marathon we are calling out to all runners to show your true colours and support for the love of running, In spite of the recent tragedy of the Boston Marathon Blast,, Sundown Marathon organizers will be observing a minute of silence to honor the affected in the USA
Mr Adrian Mok, managing director of HiVelocity Events: “The spirit of running should never be dimmed by such an unfortunate event. We hope runners in Singapore can come together to participate and show their support for the love of the sport.”
You have to be quick if you want to sign up for the Sundown event this coming 31st May / 1st June because less than 5,000 slots are available, making it one of the most eagerly anticipated running events on the local sporting calendar. Boston Marathon Bombing

Martin Richard of Dorchester has been ID’d by the Boston Globe as the 8-year-old boy killed in the Boston Marathon bombing.
His photo is below.
Martin’s mother and sister both suffered serious injuries.
Martin is one of three fatal victims of yesterday’s horrific terror attack, in which twin bombs, apparently laced with ball bearings, exploded near the finish line of the marathon. More than 140 people suffered injuries, including many who lost limbs.
This is one of the worst tragedies that has happened to the world of sports (well beside all the doping incidents)
I woke up to my twitter timeline filled with a hashtag that says #PRAYFORBOSTON and #BOSTONMARATHON then I read the next word BOMBING !
I was shocked and kinda angry thinking it was some cruel joke, but as I scroll to the earlier tweets by all my followers and following, I was devastated and sad, seeing more and more of it and my trending says ##PrayForBoston, #BostonBombing #Boston #BostonMarathon all this words feels like a knife being stabbed.
I ask my self why ? WHY would anyone want to do this to a sporting event? what is their motive in doing so? Sports is the only way where people of all colors and race unite with no prejudice but with full of pride and sense of belonging. This is the first time I am watching the video and it fills me with sadness.
A movement is sweeping across social media – to show our support, we are wearing our race shirt tomorrow/ or wear the Boston color which is Blue and Yellow when we you lace up your shoes for your run, Run because you can, Run because you choose to see the good in the world instead of the ugliness. Run to let the bad guys know they will never win. Run, Remember Reflect and Pray.
Let the the world know, we stand with our runners, colunteers, medic, supporters, race directors and anyone else who is part of this great passion.Lets rally together because at the end of the day, we are runners. It’s what we do, RUN FOR BOSTON !!

The new 860v3 debuts an exciting new upper material, the more-sustainable NuFoam, which is a thin perforated layer of EVA used in the saddle that decomposes quickly in landfills. The nature and shape of this new material allows it to contour around the foot and instep for a better, more customized mid-foot fit and snug wrap around the arch.
Also new to the shoe is TBeam, a lightweight TPU shank running through the center of the midsole. The new technologies and slightly reconfigured geometries in the 860v3 lead to an improved overall mid-foot fit without compromising the locked-in heel, forgiving forefoot area and open met head windows for toe splay. By maintaining a consistent post placement and hardness as well the same offset and midsole heights as the 860v2, the 860v3 promises similar stability and support with an even better ride
The 860v3 will be launched in all New Balance Concept Stores and also at specialty retailers with the suggested retail price of $175 in November 2012.
