Celebrity ran a 3:55 Marathon but disqualified

Not sure if you guys know Edison Chen? LOL.. who doesnt, he was the one acted in Batman where he ushered Bruce Wayne into the tower in Hong Kong. He was the one created such big news on his naked photos with all the celebrity and models in HK. So with all that bad rep, he tried to be good.. He signed up for the Hong Kong Marathon that was held on the 5th of February 2012

He successfully managed to raised HK$1 million (~USD$ 130K) for Nike’s NOMADRUN Charity Project, which donates to the Changing Youth Lives Foundation in Hong Kong, but … he was disqualified due to Bib number..

Edison’s number was supposed to be ‘A5716’ but he was not happy with it and swapped it with a participant whose number was ‘A5654’. This has confused the organiser while tabulating the results. After numerous complaints from other runners, the organiser decided to disqualify the star from the event.”Because there were complaints. It’s not fair to the other participants, so we disqualified him.

So ok ? now brings the question ? did he really run with the wrong bib? so whats wrong.. he still manage to clock the time of 3hr55sec..  or did the other guy ran in his place and name and gave him the glory after? If he truly did wanna help the charity and not just make himself look good in the public eyes.. why bother to change the bib in the first place?

I only loved his room photography skills, LOL, dont ask me what that is, but if you have followed his bad boy antics for a long time, you would know what I mean..

PS: It was reported that Nike has invested a lot in engaging personal trainee and masseur for the actor-singer during his five-month training for the event.

Life is essentially a cheat and its conditions are those of defeat; the redeeming things are not happiness and pleasure but the deeper satisfactions that come out of struggle.
