Safra Timberland Charity Climb

Last weekend, I was invited to for a event where Timberland Watches was in collaboration with Safra,This collaboration was called the SAFRA TIMBERLAND 40,000m Challenge. The ‘40,000m Challenge’ aims to raise money for the Rainbow Centre charity. For every 4 metres climbed, Timberland Watches donates $1 to charity, now wouldnt that get you going? what more better to spend your weekend climbing walls and giving back to charity? way awesome.

There is no limit on how high the climber or how many times they climb, every four metres climbed will gain an extra dollar for the Rainbow Centre. For the top five male and female participating climbers, there is also the chance to win one of 10 exclusive Timberland Watches. For children over 5, there is also a kids climbing wall.

The event is scheduled to end around 4.30pm.  the entire SAFRA Yishun Adventure Club was made available for everyone’s enjoyment. This includes the ‘Bouldering Gym’ for kids and a ‘Canopy Walk’ through the trees, so did all the climber gathered on that day manage to raise the funds for charity?  read on below

All climber will be given a Passport upon signing in and the judge will mark the height we have climb, David here was one of the climbers on that day, he is showing off his passport here..

Below is Azeem, one of my buddies and guess what, he did a total of 21 climbs since morning till the time I left,

that would be 21 x 25m = $131 (ALOT OF SWEAT) Total respect to you bro.. keep on climbing.

Where is Safra Yishun?

I also had the chance to check out the awesome Timberland watches that was available on that day. All I have to say is that I love the  Timberland Washington Summit watch(below in Orange color)  is made from plastic/resin and is fitted with a chronograph quartz movement. It fastens a black rubber strap and has a LCD dial. The watch has a date function. Includes alarm function, ok not forgetting the Heart Rate monitoring functiong, Compass and many more features *hint: Am always open for early Christmas Pressie*

Highlight of the day would most definitely be this, the climbers manage to climb the 40000m and Timberland donated a total amount of $15,000 to the Rainbow Centre Charity. Would like to say Thank you to all the climbers especially Azeem for the effort he has put into.
