Pledge A Shoe by Caring for Cambodia

As part of our efforts to give back to the community, Cold Storage Kids Run 2013 will be helping the underprivileged kids through our adopted charity, Caring for Cambodia Fund Singapore. The disadvantaged students at Caring for Cambodia Fund Singapore walk on rough terrain for long distances from their homes to their schools – some of them with worn out shoes; or no shoes at all. As a result, children as young as 2 years old are exposed to many foot injuries such as blisters, cuts, and wounds.

How You Can Help

Join us in our efforts to raise funds to provide new shoes for the underprivileged kids at Caring for Cambodia Fund Singapore. Pledge $5 for a pair of shoes. Pledge more to help more kids protect their feet.

You can make your pledge through the following:

  1. Online at the official Cold Storage Kids Run Website
  2. Roadshow @ United Square Shopping Mall on 30 & 31 March 2013
  3. Fun Fest @ F1 Pit Building on 4 & 5 May 2013

About Caring For Cambodia

Caring for Cambodia (CFC) is a non-profit, non-governmental, charitable organization that provides a free education to over 6,400 impoverished children in 21 schools spanning pre-school to high school.

Care for Cambodia

CFC’s mission is to secure a bright future through education for the children of Cambodia by providing them with a safe learning environment with well trained teachers and basic essentials for their health and welfare.

CFC professionally trains its Cambodian teachers, and provides everything a child needs to succeed, including food, clean water, uniforms, school supplies, computers, transportation and basic healthcare. CFC is run predominantly by the support of volunteers, which ensures that the dollars raised directly support the students and their education.

Lets all pledge to funding a shoe as its only $5, I know some people who spend more than $5 on coffee everyday. Why not share the love. Thank you for reading.
