Nutella Mug Cake

 

Got a craving for cake, but don’t feel like spending hours baking a full-sized one? Even if you’re not a pastry chef, try making this microwaveable Nutella Mug Cake recipe! With only 4 ingredients, this mini-cake is super quick to whip up in your microwave. It’s just the right size for you to indulge in all by yourself! And who doesn’t love Nutella!? Here’s how to make it:

  • 4 Tbsp flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup Nutella
  • 3 Tbsp milk

Whisk everything together in a large mug until smooth. Then, bake in microwave for 1 minute. The cake is cooked if a sharp knife inserted comes out clean. If not, bake for an extra 20 seconds. Cool completely, then dig in!

Quiche in a Cup

 

Quiche is traditionally a time-consuming, fiddly dish to make. But with this microwave snack life hack, you’ll look like a culinary arts master when you throw together a quick quiche in a cup!

  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp milk
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/4 bagel (or other type of bread)
  • 2 tsp cream cheese
  • 1/2 slice ham
  • Chopped fresh chives
  • Dijon mustard

Use a fork to mix egg and milk in cup. Add salt and pepper to taste. Tear bagel into small pieces and mix in. Blend in the cream cheese and ham. Microwave for approximately 1 minute, 10 seconds. Garnish with mustard and chives. Jam-packed with protein, this dish is filling and delicious!

Chocolate Chip Cookie in a Cup

  A chocolate chip cookie in a cup is the ultimate indulgence. You’ll need two cups for this snack — one to bake the cookie in, and another for the milk to go with it!

  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp white sugar
  • 1 Tbsp firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 3 drops vanilla extract
  • Small pinch of salt
  • 1 egg yolk
  • A little less than 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 heaped Tbsp semi sweet chocolate chips

Melt butter in a cup for a few seconds in the microwave. Mix in white and brown sugars, vanilla, and salt. Stir in egg yolk, followed by the flour, then the chocolate chips. Bake in microwave for 40-60 seconds, checking to see if it is done after 40 seconds. Yum!

Mac and Cheese in a Mug

If you’re in need of warm, satisfying comfort food goodness, what could be better than mac and cheese, made from scratch in a mug? Here’s how to get it:

  • 1/3 cup pasta
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Mix pasta and water in a large mug or small bowl. Microwave for 2 minutes, then stir. Repeat for 2 to 4 more minutes, until the water is completely absorbed and the pasta is cooked. Mix in the milk and cheese, then microwave for 1 more minute. Enjoy!

and this is personally my Fav, what I like to do is put in bacon bits for more crunch and bite…..

Scrambled Eggs in a Cup

Cleaning a pan of stuck-on scrambled eggs is no fun, and going out for breakfast can start to get pricey. That’s why this protein-packed scrambled eggs in a cup microwave snack life hack is so convenient. Simple to make and simply delicious!

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • 2 Tbsp shredded cheese
  • Salt and pepper
  • Any herb you like

Grease a large mug with butter or cooking spray. Add eggs, and beat with a fork. Microwave for 45 seconds. Stir. Microwave for 30-45 seconds more, until eggs are nearly set. Top with cheese, and salt, pepper, and herbs to taste.
