The Loss of A Nation’s Father #RIPLKY
Today marks a lost to a Nation great leader. He may not be a perfect leader but he is definitely a “GREAT” one, he has brought what a third world country to a first world. He lived for his people, and he loved his nation, when he passed on, the nation was not asking for public holiday but they are mourning for a great leader loss.
This shows that he is well respected and his legacy will lives on for generations to come. In this world no one will be remember for just talking but for the action he has done, and his action is “Singapore”. This quote by the late LKY shows how strong he wants to build a nation far greater than anyone I know, he has my most utmost respect as a founding father.
“I am nobody’s stooge. I am not here to play somebody else’s game. I have a few million people’s lives to account for.”
and yes, he played no games, he did not toyed with the peoples emotion in mouldering Singapore into what it is today, and it is clear that with resounding action he made Singapore GREATER than neighboring countries, which far more resources with far more people and manpower yet they were not able to catch up.
My deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to your family, on the sudden demise of your father. My prayers and thought will always goes to your family RIP Mr Lee Kuan Yew (I may have not met you but your actions shows in this flourished country and the nation thank you for this.
