Paperback or Digital Print, which is better?

I saw this new book that was raved by HBR a couple of minutes ago, the reviews for it was so darn good , I was so tempted to click on buy in Amazon, It was on offer anyway, $25.99 down to a cool $15.27.  Then the big question here came when I wanted to choose paperback or eBook.

Some pros and cons for having

Paperback

Pros

  1. Touch (tangible feel of holding and feeling the book)
  2. The smell of printed paper (not sure if this is a pro but for me it is) its like smelling new money

Cons

  1. Take up space
  2. Will have mildews after keeping for some time

Digital Print

Pros

  1. Cheaper (not sure if its cheaper)
  2. Easy on the weight, you can carry like 100 books in 1 device

Cons

  1. Might get corrupted
  2. Your reader might run out of juice
  3. You have to buy a reader before you can start reading. $$$

So What would you choose ? help me decide at the polls below

  2. You can’t beat a real book. E-reader handy for holidays but not for every day bookaholics I think.

      • Before I had my kids & we went on lazy holidays I used to take 20 paperbacks in my case. I can see the advantage of the e-reader for that reason but what about when you fall asleep reading the book & it falls over the edge of the bed – bye bye e-reader I would suspect!

      • oh my..lugging 20 is pretty excessive, I am guessing you read about a book a day with that kinda speed you should be able to finish it all.

      • I used to let them behind then to make way for any shopping I’d do. I am lucky if I read a book a week now – the joys of motherhood!
